The Backstory

This project was a house that we found the buyers for prior to the completion of the project. I often speculate who the end buyer will become, but rarely does that speculation come to life. In this case, it sure felt close to what I pictured; a charming young couple looking to start their life together! They purchased the home in the spring of 2022 when the market was crazy. They were relieved to find something not yet on the market that they could move on fast.

I love adding a few extras to every project. The red door, new columns, and address sign are some of my favorites on the front of this one. The side door was another fun aspect of the project.

We ended up redoing the entire (LITTLE) space. Bead-board ceiling, shiplap walls, new storms, and a new storm door all were added. Since this house did not have a great spot for a drop zone we added a few hooks in this room to supplement.
